SkateBatavia is a organization with two main goals:
First, to rebuild and reconnect the skateboarding community here in Batavia.
Second, to start hosting events and work toward building a permanent public skatepark.
We’re here to make a safe space for skaters, scooter riders, and BMX riders to get creative and involved.
No trespassing. No kick-outs.
Batavia doesn’t have a public skatepark anymore.
The old one behind the ice arena is gone—and now there’s nowhere safe and legal for skaters to ride.
Without a skatepark, we’re forced into public parking lots, streets, sidewalks, or private property—risking injury, fines, or getting kicked out.
A skatepark would give local youth a safe, creative space to skate, ride, and connect. This is something our city needs.
Want to help?
Whether you skate or just believe in supporting youth and community spaces, we need your voice.
Help us spread the word, connect with city leaders, and bring a skatepark to Batavia.
"Skating gave us a place to belong. Batavia deserves that too"
